Hi, Everyone!  Welcome to Week 3 of the Spooky Sew Along!  I'm Jessica Dayon and I'm here to walk you through this QAL!  Here in Week 3, we will be working on Round 3 & Border 3 of our quilt!

Here is the schedule we will be following-

Tuesday, October 1st- Round 2, Border 2- Read this Post Here

Tuesday, October 8th (today)- Round 3, Border 3

Tuesday, October 15th- Round 4, Border 4

Tuesday, October 22nd- Round 5, Borders 5 & 6

Here are the links to the posts of the original QAL that you will need for Week 3-

Round 3- Path A- Over the River

Round 3- Path B- Pinwheel Point

Cornerstone Option- Star View

Border 3

I am making the Pinwheel Point round and adding in the Star View Cornerstones.

If you'd like to make the exact quilt that I am making, I have a detailed schedule with all of the steps broken down for this week to make Pinwheel Point & Star View-

Tuesday- Cut out the pieces needed for 20 Pinwheel Point blocks.

Wednesday- Assemble 80 triangle units that are used in the Pinwheel Point block.

Thursday- Assemble 20 Pinwheel Point Blocks.

Friday- Cut the fabric for 4 Star View blocks

Saturday- Make 4 Star View blocks.

Sunday- Sew 5 Pinwheel Point blocks together.  The strip should measure 6 1/2" x 30 1/2".  Repeat to make one more.  Sew these to the left and right sides of the medallion.  Sew 5 Pinwheel Point blocks together and then sew one star on each end.  The strip should measure 6 1/2" x 42 1/2".  Repeat to make one more.  Sew these to the top and bottom of the medallion.

Monday- Add Border 3

Feel free to follow your own schedule, group days together and work on more each day if you have longer periods of time, or adapt this any schedule to fit your needs.  I find when I give myself specific tasks each day for a quilt (or quilts), I get more finished quicker because I know exactly what I want to work on and I can just get right to it.

Your medallion up to Border 3 should measure 44 1/2" x 44 1/2".
